Beginner Berber is a free Android app developed by shotgun.experiments that serves as an introduction to the Berber language for beginners and enthusiasts. The app is based on the 'a word a day' concept, providing up to 12 words a day of the user's choice.
The app uses a repetition-based learning method where all learned words are tested repeatedly on a decreasing regularity basis. If the user answers correctly, the app will adjust to test them less frequently, while incorrect answers will result in more frequent testing or deactivation of the word. With almost a thousand common and popular Berber words available in the app, users can pace themselves and gain an essential knowledge of the Berber vocabulary in just a matter of weeks.
